5 ounces (about 150g) sesame tahini
2 ounces (about 55g) hοney
3 ounces (about 90g) sesame oil
2 ounces couverture dark chocolate 55% cocoa
Put the chocolate into a metallic bowl. Place the bowl above a pot with boiling water (be careful so the bottom of the bowl does not touch the water). Stir with a rubber spatula until the chocolate melts.
In a large bowl stir the tahini with the honey and the sesame oil using a rubber spoon.
Add the melted chocolate and mix well until it becomes a fine mixture. Wait to cool down and then put it in a clean and dry empty glass jar. You can keep it outside of the fridge for about 3 months.
Use it in cakes, cookies or spread on warm baked bread.
This is a very healthy spread that everyone can enjoy. It is rich in polyunsaturated fats and it lowers the cholesterol levels because of the sesame (tahini). It contains 1g of fiber/tbs and 1 g of protein!
It contains also a lot of calories so I would recommend not to over do it.
15g of this mixture on a thin bread slice contains more than 150 calories!
