Lemon: did you know that…

Drinking one glass of  warm water, freshly squezzed lemon juice and a pinch of cayenne pepper every morning for 10 days will:

  • boost your immune system. (Lemons are high in potassium and vitamin C).  Vitamin C fights against colds. Potassium stimulates the brain and nerve functionality and controls  blood pressure.
  • balances body’s pH: Lemons turn alkaline inside our bodies and balance the acidicy by toxic cooked foods.
  • lemon juice is anti-septic and antiscorbutic.
  • pectin fibers in lemons and alkaline activity help weight loss.
  • warm water helps digestion.
  • lemon juice is diuretic and toxins are flushed from the body easier and faster. Lemons are wonderful solvent of uric acid and other poisons.
  • vitamic C helps against wrinkles and blemishes and makes our skin look clrearer.
  • helps the prevention of dehydration and  fatigue.
  • cayenne pepper is one of the most healthy foods as well. Just a pinch in the warm water with lemon is enough to fight inflamation, boost immunity, clear congestion, reduce the blood cholesterol, prevent from stomach ulcers and help weight loss.

Detoxing with warm water, lemon juice and a pinch of cayenne pepper!

…more of did you know that soon.

  1. wow, really emphasises the saying, “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade”!! (although, perhaps, make warm lemonade- with some cayenne!)

  2. Oops I posted to quick. I wanted to say, I actually tried this mix of lemon, cayene and I believe maple syrup and it wasn’t too bad. It is very good for you. Thanks for sharing this.
